[A] There are two kinds of public transportation from Narita International Airport to JR Fukushima Station. For access from Fukushima Station to downtown Iizaka Onsen, see (A-3). (A-1) From Narita International Airport to JR Tokyo Station, take the Narita Express (N’EX) or the rapid service Airport Narita train, or a limousine bus, and get off at JR Tokyo Station. From JR Tokyo Station, take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen super-express train and get off at Fukushima Station. (A-2) From Narita International Airport, take a limousine bus bound for Fukushima Eki-mae (station-front) and get off at JR Fukushima Station. Travel time is approximately 5 hours. (A-3) To go to Iizaka Onsen by taxi from Fukushima Station, tell the driver “To Iizaka Onsen, please” or in Japanese “Iizaka Onsen e itte kudasai.” It takes about 20 minutes. To go by rail, take a train from Fukushima Station on the Fukushima Kotsu Iizaka Line to Iizaka Onsen Station [B] Public transportation is also available from Fukushima Airport to JR Koriyama Station and then on to JR Fukushima Station. For access from Fukushima Station to downtown Iizaka Onsen, see (A-3) above. (B-1) From Fukushima Airport, take a limousine bus to JR Koriyama Station. Travel time is approximately 40 minutes. From JR Koriyama Station, take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen super-express train, and get off at JR Fukushima Station. [C] By car to Iizaka Onsen via Tohoku Expressway First take the Tohoku Expressway and exit at Fukushima-Iizaka I.C. Then follow the ordinary road and proceed for about 1km along National Highway Route 13 toward Yonezawa. Then turn to the right at the crossing with Prefectural Highway Route 3. Proceed for about 2km on Route 3, and you will arrive at downtown Iizaka Onsen.
